This
event is a long standing tradition that has stood the test of time. Attend
this fascinating test of horse power and you'll find yourself returning
next year.
Drawn to the field are horses
from across the state of Minnesota with the exception of the Farmer's
Race, which is an exciting show of Carlton
County horses that don't run races by nature. You'll find them jockeyed
by their owners both young and old. Being
a premier event you'll witness some of the finest animals in racing.
Carlton County Fair has maintained a reputation with horse breeders
for an excellent race and don't be surprised to see some familiar
horses that run the Cantebury Downs in Shakopee.
