This barn is always a favorite for animal lovers. The 4-H members that choose horses as a fair project are very busy. Some of the activities they participate in are: Equestrian skills and showmanship, horse training, pleasure class events, and game events. Also an impressive Grand March of horse show participants. 4-H members are expected to keep their animals in tip-top shape by grooming, washing and brushing, to be ready for the livestock shows throughout the days. Feeding, watering, and clean stalls are also their responsibilty.

A Focal point of the Horse Barn is the Draft Horse stables. The finest Draft Horses from the area are found in these stables open to the walk-way for passers by to appreciate. These animals draw large crowds for an exibition of their strength in the Horse Pull competition.

6:00 p.m. - Arena

Horse Pull is open to everyone state wide- no entry fee.
Every teamster that enters his or her team gets $25.00 for pulling the team.

1st Place - $75 - 2nd Place - $50 - 3rd Place - $25

Note: Negative Coggins Test required on ALL HORSES.
We need original and photocopy for each horse, one year to date.
